AUSTIN, Texas - An Austin felon was sentenced in federal court to 235 months in prison for methamphetamine trafficking and possession of a firearm, announced U.S. Attorney for the Western District of Texas, Justin R. Simmons.
According to court documents, Blane Spear aka Jonathan Garza, 32, was investigated in June 2024 for selling large amounts of methamphetamine in the Austin area. Austin Police executed a search warrant at Spear's residence on Aug. 26, 2024, finding him to be in possession of two small bags containing methamphetamine.
