(COLUMBIA, S.C.) - South Carolina Attorney General Alan Wilson announced today that eight targets of the State Grand Jury "Pressed for Time" investigation have been indicted. The investigation is focused primarily on a fentanyl trafficking organization operating in Greenwood and Abbeville Counties with ties to Aiken, McCormick, Anderson, Greenville and Richland Counties.
In this investigation, the defendants are alleged to have been using illegal pill presses to manufacture blue pills containing fentanyl. They are alleged to have distributed the pills through members of the drug trafficking organization. The organization also al...
