ATTOR­NEY GEN­ER­AL KEN PAX­TON SENDS LET­TERS TO DATA CEN­TER DEVEL­OP­MENTS ACROSS TEXAS TO ENSURE REPORT­ING OF WATER USE AND COM­PLI­ANCE WITH TEXAS LAW

AUSTIN, Oct. 15 -- The Texas Attorney General issued the following press release:

Attorney General Ken Paxton hasissued letters to 156 data center developments across the state of Texas as part of his ongoing efforts to protect Texas resources and communities.

Previously, Attorney General Paxton announced that he launched an investigation into hundreds of data center developments across the state. Data centers under investigation include those that have not provided a response to the Texas Water Development Board's ("TWDB") water use survey.
