ATLANTA, Aug. 30 -- The U.S. Department of Justice's Federal Bureau of Investigation Atlanta Field Office issued the following press release:
SAVANNAH, Georgia:An Atlanta man has been sentenced to 40 years in prison after pleading guilty in district court to child pornography charges.
The sentence was imposed by U.S. District Court Chief Judge R. Stan Baker and announced by Margaret E. "Meg" Heap, U.S. Attorney for the Southern District of Georgia.
Octavius D'Angelo Sheffield, 26, of Atlanta, was sentenced to 480 months in prison, followed by 20 years of supervised release after pleading guilty to Production of Child Pornography and Possession of Child Pornography. Sheffield will also be required to register as a sex offender and pay an ...
