Today, House Budget Chairman Jodey Arrington (TX-19) released the following statement after the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) finalized a rule scaling back the Biden administration's costly methane regulations for oil and natural gas producers. EPA estimates (https://www.epa.gov/newsreleases/epa-continues-unleash-domestic-energy-revisions-burdensome-unworkable-biden-era-oil) the rule will save roughly $2.5 billion over 15 years, or $208 million annually in industry compliance costs.
