Washington State University Regents Professor and Distinguished Professor of Power Engineering Anjan Bose has been elected an International Fellow of the United Kingdom-based Royal Academy of Engineering, one of the highest honors in the engineering profession.
A globally recognized expert in electric power systems, Bose has helped shape many of the technologies and analytical tools that underpin today's electric grid. His work has advanced the operation, control, and reliability of large-scale power networks, including pioneering contributions to real-time power system simulation that transformed how grid operators are trained around the world.
