ALEXANDRIA/LAFAYETTE - On August 5, 2026, a press conference was held at the Rapides Parish Sheriff's Office to discuss the return of the federal indictment against Clarence A. Frazier, 48, of Alexandria, who is charged with the murder of Deputy U.S. Marshal Drew Hanson and the attempted murder of a U.S. Marshals Service task force officer, along with related firearm crimes.Frazierfaces up to life imprisonment or death if convicted.
