AIKEN, S.C., April 14 -- Aiken Technical College issued the following news release:
Aiken Technical College is reintroducing its Emergency Medical Technician-Basic Certificate program in an eight-week format, with classes beginning in May.
"Reimagining the EMT Basic Certificate as an eight-week program reflects our commitment to innovative, workforce-responsive education," said Chad Crumbaker, J.D., vice president of academic affairs and workforce innovation. "This structure provides rigorous training while helping students move quickly from training to meaningful employment in emergency services in our community. We are excited to relaunch our EMT program this summer."
