WASHINGTON, Aug. 27 -- Agricultural Marketing Service has issued a rule called: Olives Grown in California; Decreased Assessment Rate.

The rule was published in the Federal Register on Aug. 27 by Erin Morris, Administrator, Agricultural Marketing Service.

Summary: This final rule implements a recommendation from the California Olive Committee (Committee) to decrease the assessment rate established for the 2025 and subsequent fiscal years from $28 to $24 per ton of assessable olives grown in California. The assessment rate will remain in effect indefinitely unless modified, suspended, or terminated.
