WASHINGTON, March 20 -- Agricultural Marketing Service has issued a proposed rule called: Almonds Grown in California; Amendment to the Marketing Order.

The proposed rule was published in the Federal Register on March 20 by Erin Morris, Administrator, Agricultural Marketing Service.

Summary: This proposed rule invites comments on a proposed amendment to Marketing Order No. 981, which regulates the handling of almonds grown in California. The proposed amendment would establish the authority to borrow funds from a commercial lending institution.
