WASHINGTON, Aug. 7 -- Administration for Children and Families has issued a proposed rule called: Reducing Federal Burden for Head Start Programs.

The proposed rule was published in the Federal Register on Aug. 7 by Robert F. Kennedy, Secretary, Department of Health and Human Services.

Summary: This NPRM proposes to rescind and replace the Head Start Program Performance Standards (Performance Standards), last revised in 2024.
