ADMINISTRATION FOR CHILDREN AND FAMILIES ISSUES PROPOSED RULE: REDUCING BUREAUCRACY AND BURDEN FOR CHILDREN, YOUTH, AND FAMILY PROGRAMS

WASHINGTON, April 6 -- Administration for Children and Families has issued a proposed rule called: Reducing Bureaucracy and Burden for Children, Youth, and Family Programs.

The proposed rule was published in the Federal Register on April 6 by Robert F. Kennedy, Secretary, Department of Health and Human Services.

Summary: The Department of Health and Human Services, Administration for Children and Families proposes to remove duplicative or unnecessary sections from the Runaway and Homeless Youth Program regulations (45 CFR part 1351).
