MONTEREY-Assemblymember Dawn Addis (D-Morro Bay) released the following statement after a CAL FIRE Cooperators meeting to discuss the ongoing Timber Fire response:
"Our first responders are working around the clock to address the Timber Fire, and I remain deeply grateful for their tireless service.
"I want to thank Will Goodman, Deputy Chief of State Operations, for bringing us together. Recent reports indicate that the fire has grown to more than 2,400 acres and is currently 5% contained. As the fire continues to spread, I urge those in evacuation warning zones to prepare their belongings in case an evacuation order is issue...
