MONTEREY-Assemblymember Dawn Addis (D-Morro Bay), released the following statement following immediate evacuation orders issued by Monterey County Sherrif's Office in response to the Timber Fire in Monterey County:
"I am in close communication with local, state, and federal partners as we navigate the Timber Fire in Big Sur.
"Safety is the top priority. Please follow all evacuation orders and guidance from authorities. Thank you to every firefighter, emergency responder, and public safety professional working around the clock to protect our community."
