Rep. Barry Loudermilk (GA-11) issued the following statement after passage of the Main Street Capital Access Act (H.R. 6955), which included two of the provisions he has sponsored:

"The House has passed the Main Street Capital Access Act , to make needed reforms to our financial regulatory system without imposing unnecessary burdens on our community banks and other small financial institutions. For too long, federal regulators have relied on a one-size-fits-all approach, which larger firms can absorb but places unnecessary strain on smaller firms.
