U.S, March 6 -- SERENGETI NATIONAL PARK, Tanzania - Tanzanian authorities have deployed multiple rescue teams across Serengeti National Park after weeks of intense rainfall flooded key roads and river crossings, leaving safari vehicles and tourists temporarily stranded inside one of Africa's most famous wildlife reserves.Heavy downpours have submerged transport routes across the sprawling park, halting safari convoys mid-journey and forcing vehicles to wait for hours in waterlogged areas.
The Tanzania National Parks Authority (TANAPA) confirmed that specialized recovery squads were dispatched to assist tourists and safari guides trapped in flooded zones.
