US, Oct. 3 -- New flights to India and Colombia, Alaska Airlines pushing Seattle onto the global aviation map, leadership changes from Bangkok to Oman and Scotland, and serious operational and geopolitical headaches made this a remarkably busy week in aviation. Between September 27 and October 3, SAS returned to India with Copenhagen-Mumbai, JetBlue opened Fort Lauderdale-Barranquilla, Southwest connected Reno with Nashville, and Allegiant launched another batch of U.S. routes.
