Siliguri, May 13 -- India's hidden world of spiders and whip scorpions has come into fresh scientific focus after researchers from the Zoological Survey of India (ZSI) discovered two new spider species in Nagaland and revived scientific studies on the country's little-known whip scorpions after more than a century.

According to a media release issued by the Press Information Bureau, the findings have been published in the international journal Zootaxa and are being seen as a significant contribution to India's biodiversity research.
