Aizawl, June 26 -- Mizoram Home Minister K. Sapdanga on Friday said the ruling Zoram People's Movement (ZPM) saw no necessity to join the BJP-led National Democratic Alliance (NDA), while asserting that the party remained united and dismissing speculation of differences with Chief Minister Lalduhoma over the issue.
Addressing a press interaction at his residence, Sapdanga said there was no difference of opinion between him and the Chief Minister on the NDA question.
"The ZPM does not think it is necessary to join the NDA. At the same time, we believe in maintaining cordial relations with the alliance. This has been our stand since we formed the government, and it remains unchanged," he said.
