Bengaluru, Aug. 12 -- Karnataka's food safety crackdown has moved beyond hotels and restaurants to warehouses and delivery-linked facilities, with Food Safety and Drug Administration officials conducting an inspection at a Zomato warehouse in Bengaluru amid growing concerns over hygiene, storage, labelling and food quality.
The intensified enforcement drive has brought the entire food supply chain under scrutiny, covering hotels, restaurants, central kitchens, warehouses, outlets and other facilities where food is stored, processed or handled, officials said.
