Aizawl, July 13 -- A week-long exhibition showcasing traditional tribal handicrafts, handwoven textiles and indigenous products from across the North East opened in Aizawl on Monday, with Chief Minister Lalduhoma urging artisans to preserve their ancestral craftsmanship while taking advantage of expanding market opportunities.

The Zo Fair (Aadhi Bazaar) was inaugurated at Dawrpui Multipurpose Hall. It is jointly organised by the Tribal Cooperative Marketing Development Federation of India (TRIFED) under the union Ministry of Tribal Affairs and the Mizoram Cooperation Department.
