Narainpur (Chhattisgarh), July 20 -- Zinc Football Academy and Garhwal United FC became the first two sides to book their place in the quarter-finals of the AIFF U17 Women's Youth League 2026-27 at the RKM Football Academy here on Monday.
Both sides picked up their second win on the trot. While Zinc thrashed Roots FC 8-2 in Group A, Garhwal United blanked PFC Kerala 3-0 in Group B. Kemp FC and hosts RKM Football Academy drew 1-1 and remain in the hunt for the second spot in Group B. KMP Aspire FC and DFA Raisen played out a 4-4 thriller to take their qualifying hopes to the last matchday.
Roots, with two defeats, became the first team to be eliminated from the competition.
