Bengaluru, April 12 -- Senior Congress leader and Karnataka Minister Zameer Ahmed Khan came under indirect attack from within his own party on Sunday, as Shivajinagar MLA Rizwan Arshad publicly flagged internal rifts over the Davanagere South bypoll ticket distribution.
In remarks that have intensified the simmering factional tensions, Arshad blamed "one-name politics" within the minority leadership for the community losing out on the ticket, in what is being seen as a veiled criticism of Zameer's role in the process.
