New Delhi, Aug. 24 -- Afghanistan have announced a 15-member squad for their upcoming three-match T20I series against India, with Ibrahim Zadran set to begin his first assignment as the team's full-time T20I captain.
The series will also mark the return of fast bowler Naveen-ul-Haq, who missed the T20 World Cup and the subsequent T20I series against the West Indies because of injury.
The Afghanistan Cricket Board (ACB) said the team will travel to India ahead of the series to train and complete its preparations.
"It is also worth mentioning that the Afghanistan team will travel to India soon for training and final preparations before the event officially kicks off in AJCS, New Delhi," the ACB said in a release.
