Kakinada, July 21 -- A large number of YSRCP women activists led by party district women wing president Vardineedi Sujatha staged a dharna in front of the Ambedkar statue at the Indrapalem locks center here on Tuesday protesting against the "increasing atrocities against womenfolk" during the present coalition parties regime.
They raised slogans denouncing the state government for its failure in ensuring safety of womenfolk and "unprecedented increase in onslaughts against womenfolk including murders and rapes". The recent incidents in Badvel and Guntur were the glaring examples, they alleged.
