Shahjahanpur, March 4 -- In Shahjahanpur, two youths allegedly pointed a country-made pistol at Dr. Ram Singh Kushwaha, husband of BJP MLA Salona Kushwaha from the Tilhar Assembly constituency, while he was on his way to perform Holi rituals on Wednesday morning.
According to the MLA, her husband was accompanied by supporters when the incident occurred at a junction. The supporters managed to grab the weapon and briefly detained the accused, but they escaped from the spot.
The MLA alleged that the accused later entered the residence of former MLA Roshan Lal Verma.
