New Delhi, April 24 -- A youth was shot by unknown assailants who opened fire indiscriminately in the early hours in the Karol Bagh area, triggering panic in the locality.
According to police, a call regarding the incident was received at around 3:55 AM. The caller informed that a man with a bullet injury had been taken to Sucheta Kriplani Hospital.
The injured youth was later identified as Rohit.
"Rohit, a resident of Than Singh Nagar in Anand Parbat, sustained a gunshot injury and was admitted to the hospital," a senior police official said.
