Nagpur, July 14 -- : A youth was electrocuted after coming in contact with a live overhead electric (OHE) wire while climbing atop a stationary goods train at Nagpur Railway Station early on Tuesday morning, railway officials said.
The incident occurred around 5.30 am in the railway yard area, where the unidentified youth reportedly climbed onto a coal-laden goods train and came dangerously close to the 25 kV overhead power line.
He suffered a severe electric shock and died on the spot after falling from the wagon.
The Government Railway Police (GRP) rushed to the spot and sent the body to Mayo Hospital for post-mortem examination.
