Bareilly, March 4 -- A tragic incident linked to a love affair has come to light in the Bhamora police station area of Bareilly district in Uttar Pradesh. A young man allegedly died by suicide while his girlfriend is battling for her life in a hospital, police said on Wednesday.
According to reports, villagers were heading towards the fields when they spotted a youth hanging from a tree with a rope around his neck.
The deceased was identified as Krishnapal. Police reached the spot after receiving information, brought the body down and sent it for post-mortem examination.
Villagers said Krishnapal was in a relationship with a young woman from a nearby village. The couple wanted to marry but their families were opposed to the relationship....
