Ayodhya, June 18 -- Amid the controversy surrounding the alleged theft of offerings at the Ram Temple and the SIR probe underway, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath will visit Ayodhya on Friday.
The CM will perform puja at the Ram Temple, but Champat Rai, the general secretary of the temple trust, has been barred from attending the event.
According to sources, the CM's protocol letter issued by the administration mentions this. Point 29 of the letter requests Champat Rai to nominate another person as his representative for CM Adityanath's Ram Temple program and inform the duty magistrate of this information.
