Lucknow, May 10 -- The Yogi Adityanath-led Uttar Pradesh cabinet was expanded for the second time on Sunday, with six new ministers inducted and two existing ministers of state elevated in a reshuffle aimed at broadening the government's social and political base.
Governor Anandiben Patel administered the oath of office and secrecy to the eight ministers at Jan Bhavan in the presence of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath and members of his council of ministers.
The newly inducted ministers include former Samajwadi Party leader Manoj Pandey, former UP BJP state president Bhupendra Chaudhary, Surendra Diler, Krishna Paswan, Hansraj Vishwakarma, and Kailash Rajput.
