Varanasi, June 17 -- : A grand yoga and outreach program was held at Ravidas Ghat in Kashi on Wednesday as part of the "Gangotri to Gangasagar" Yoga Yatra, a special public awareness campaign organized by the union Ministry of AYUSH, to mark International Yoga Day 2026.
Connecting major cities along the Ganga River, this Yatra is spreading the message of yoga, health, environmental protection, and awareness about Indian cultural values.
The Yatra, which began in Gangotri on June 13, 2026, will pass through various important destinations-Rishikesh, Haridwar, Prayagraj, Varanasi, Patna, and Hooghly-and will conclude in Gangasagar on June 20, 2026.
