Vijayapura, May 22 -- Expelled BJP leader Basanagouda Patil Yatnal has intensified his attack on both the Karnataka Congress government and his own party leadership, alleging a growing trend of "appeasement politics" and internal organisational weakness.
Addressing reporters here on Friday, Yatnal accused Chief Minister Siddaramaiah of withdrawing cases linked to communal violence incidents, saying such moves would "weaken law and order in the state and embolden anti-social elements." He referred to cases including the KG Halli-DJ Halli violence and the Hubballi police station attack.
