New Delhi, Sept. 10 -- Vidarbha pacer Yash Thakur has been added to India's squads for the three-match T20I series against Afghanistan and the upcoming Asian Games after Harshit Rana was ruled out with a fresh injury.
The Afghanistan series begins in Delhi on September 13, while the Asian Games are scheduled to follow later this month. Thakur will be playing his second T20I series for India after making his international debut during the tour of Zimbabwe in July.
The 27-year-old earned his recall after an impressive Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy campaign last season, when he took 18 wickets in seven matches. He then claimed four wickets in two games in Zimbabwe, although he conceded at an economy rate of 9.37.
