Yadgir (Karnataka), Aug. 5 -- A deadly gas leak at a chemical factory in Kadechur Industrial Area of Yadgir district claimed the lives of three workers and left two others fighting for survival, triggering grief and anger among families of the victims on Wednesday.
The victims, who were migrant workers from neighbouring states, reportedly fell unconscious after inhaling toxic gas inside the industrial unit. Despite efforts to save them, three workers died, while critically injured Hemanth and Shivakumar were shifted to the Raichur Institute of Medical Sciences (RIMS) Hospital, where they remain under intensive care.
