Galle, Aug. 19 -- India captain Shubman Gill believes the team's 165-run victory over Sri Lanka in the opening Test in Galle can provide valuable momentum in their bid to reach the World Test Championship final, while hailing the performances of young spinner Manav Suthar and batter Devdutt Padikkal.

India moved closer to their ultimate WTC goal with a commanding win on Wednesday, takinga 1-0 lead in the two-match series.
