Bhubaneswar, Sept. 17 -- The World Skill Centre (WSC) in Bhubaneswar has emerged as a model for industry-oriented skill development, with NITI Aayog recognising its role in equipping youth with skills aligned to the evolving requirements of the industrial sector.
The premier skill development centre has been cited as a model in NITI Aayog's recent report titled 'Reimagining Skilling for Viksit Bharat', which highlighted the importance of providing industry-relevant training to prepare young people for emerging employment opportunities.
Established by the Odisha Government, the World Skill Centre offers training programmes in advanced and specialised fields aimed at meeting the requirements of the future industrial sector.
