Thiruvananthapuram, Aug. 20 -- Kerala has decided to intensify mosquito and mosquito-larvae eradication measures and disease surveillance across the state as part of efforts to prevent and control mosquito-borne diseases.
Special disease screening and fever surveys will be conducted in areas that have reported a higher incidence of mosquito-borne diseases in the past, as well as in localities where migrant workers reside.
In areas where mosquito-borne diseases are currently being reported, fogging, spraying and other intensified mosquito-control measures will be carried out.
