Hyderabad, April 13 -- Telangana Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy on Monday asserted that the BJP can not teach the Congress about women's empowerment, stating that it is "part of the Congress DNA".

He said the Congress supports 33 per cent reservation for women, but maintained that its implementation should be based on the "2026 Census rather than the 2011 Census".

The Chief Minister alleged that the NDA-led BJP government was creating urgency by convening a 'special session of Parliament from April 16 to 18' to take up both women's reservation and delimitation together, which, he said, could create an impression that Opposition parties opposing delimitation, were against women's reservation.
