Panchkula, Aug. 25 -- Haryana State Women Commission member Bharti Saini on Tuesday said the safety and security of women and girls was a collective responsibility of society, urging them not to remain silent in the face of any inappropriate incident or harassment.
She advised them to immediately inform their parents, teachers or the concerned authorities so that timely action could be ensured, according to a press release issued by the HSCW.
During her district visit, Saini interacted with the female students at PM Shri Government Girls Senior Secondary School, Charkhi Dadri, and sensitised them about women's safety, self-confidence and their legal rights.
