Pune, Apr 7 ( UNI) In a shocking and gruesome incident, a woman allegedly killed her 11-month-old son in Bhambarde village of Shirur taluka and later dumped the body in a well in an attempt to destroy evidence.The crime was uncovered within hours by the Ranjangaon MIDC police.According to police, Ravindra Ashok Pawar, a resident of Bhambarde, had filed a complaint about his infant son going missing at the Ranjangaon MIDC Police Station. Taking the matter seriously, the police launched an immediate investigation.During the probe, suspicion arose over the behaviour of the child's mother, Pooja Ravindra Pawar.
