Auraiya, April 30 -- A tragic incident was reported from the Auraiya district on Thursday, where a 32-year-old woman lost her life after being crushed under a falling neem tree.
According to reports, the incident occurred in Kakraiya village under the Anantaram police station area.
The deceased, Preeti, wife of Devendra Kushwaha, had gone to their agricultural field with her husband to harvest tomatoes in the morning.
Suddenly, strong winds accompanied by rain began. In an attempt to take shelter from the weather, the couple stood under a neem tree located on the edge of their field. However, due to the intensity of the wind, the tree uprooted and collapsed, trapping Preeti underneath.
