Srinagar, June 6 -- Jammu and Kashmir Police have booked a woman under the stringent Public Safety Act (PSA) in north Kashmir's Baramulla district for her alleged involvement in unlawful and anti-national activities, officials said on Saturday.

They said Baramulla Police executed a detention warrant against Haseena Begum a resident of Sheeri Baramulla, under the PSA. The PSA is a preventive detention law that allows authorities to detain any individual for two years without trial for activities considered a threat to public order or the security of the state.
