New Delhi, July 9 -- New Chairperson of the Delhi Commission for Protection of Child Rights (DCPCR), Om Prakash Vyas, today assumed charge, and said all members of the commission are committed to working to protect children's rights, secure their future and support their overall development.

He said the commission would actively work for ensuring the effective implementation of POCSO Act and all statutory provisions relating to children's rights, taking prompt cognisance of matters concerning child safety, spreading greater public awareness, and building a robust child protection system through all the agencies concerned.
