Mumbai, April 30 -- Mumbai Indians may be struggling in the Indian Premier League 2026 season, but batting coach Kieron Pollard made it clear that the five-time champions have not given up yet. After their six-wicket loss to Sunrisers Hyderabad at the Wankhede Stadium on Wednesday, Pollard said the team still believes it can turn things around going ahead.
Despite losing six of their first eight matches, Pollard said the mood inside the dressing room remains positive and the players are ready to keep fighting.
"We have not accepted defeat, but we have accepted that we have been on the losing side more often than not so far in this tournament," Pollard said.
