Kendrapada, Aug. 21 -- Two brothers were injured after being attacked by a wild boar while they were bathing in a village pond at Bandhapatna under Rajnagar block in Odisha's Kendrapada district on Friday.
The injured have been identified as Binod Sethi and Inod Sethi, residents of Bandhapatna village.
According to locals, the wild boar suddenly emerged from nearby bushes and attacked the two brothers while they were bathing in the pond.
Hearing their cries for help, local residents rushed to the spot and rescued the injured duo. They were initially taken to Rajnagar Hospital for treatment. However, as their condition deteriorated, they were later shifted to the Kendrapara District Headquarters Hospital for advanced treatment.
