New Delhi, March 27 -- A 24-year-old woman and her alleged accomplice were arrested within 24 hours for orchestrating a stabbing attack on her husband in central Delhi's Patel Nagar, an officer said on Thursday.
According to the police, the victim has sustained multiple stab injuries, is currently undergoing treatment at RML Hospital and was declared unfit to give a statement when police first reached the facility on March 24.
"The accused, Laxmi, initially told police that her husband had been attacked by two to three unidentified persons in a nearby park while he had gone out to buy food," said Rohit Rajbir Singh, Deputy Commissioner of Police (Central District).
