Mumbai, July 7 -- The Maharashtra State Congress Committee kicked off its statewide 'Raghupati Raghav Raja Ram Satyagraha' on Tuesday from the Kalaram Temple at Nashik, to protest against the alleged embezzlement of donations at the Ayodhya Ram Temple.
The campaign was inaugurated at the Kalaram Temple in Nashik under the leadership of Maharashtra Congress Committee President HarshvardhanSapkal.
Interacting with media persons in Nashik, Sapkal alleged that, "Looting of donations at the Ram Temple in Ayodhya has been going on for several days and that it is now widely known who was responsible and how it had taken place. Many people within the RSS-BJP were aware of the wrongdoing but remained silent".
