Mumbai, July 18 -- The Bombay High Court has raised a crucial question regarding the fate of patients undergoing treatment if the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) abruptly cancels a hospital's license.
The court expressed deep concern over whether such sudden regulatory actions would force vulnerable patients to vacate the hospital immediately.
During the hearing of a petition, Acting Chief Justice Ravindra Ghuge emphasized that the FDA must exercise restraint and proper planning when executing such enforcement actions.
