Kolkata, Aug. 18 -- The West Bengal tourist department has lined up tourism projects worth around Rs 615 crore, with the state government submitting a Rs 129-crore proposal under the Centre's Swadesh Darshan scheme and preparing another 19 tourism circuits estimated at Rs 486 crore.
Tourism Minister Shankar Ghosh on Tuesday listed the work undertaken by his department in the past 100 days at the New Secretariat Building in Kolkata. The BJP government in West Bengal has just completed 100 days in office.
